*Sigh*

It's quiet in Janie's world this week.

Tripp is on vacation this week and I miss him terribly, but he needed this down time & I know he's enjoying himself.  I guess the silver lining is that it's my week for mother nature's gift.  The downside is, when he gets back we have a couple days to try and make something happen before I go on vacation and when I get back it'll be that time of the month again.

Just ugh!

Tripp has been sending me pictures...my favorite was the "Heart You" he drew in the sand with a picture of the lovestruck icon with it.  It was HUGE and just so cute...and just the kind of cheesy crap I adore.  Can I help it that I am a simple yet crazily complex kind of a girl?

Hubs and I are in a good place right now and have been for quite awhile.  I thought guilt was trying to insert itself in me but I quickly determined it was the fact that my tummy can no longer handle italian sausage with peppers and onions...which I happen to love, btw.

*sigh*

Life really is good though...loving all the sunshine & hot weather.  Looking forward to a short vacation in the mountains.  REALLY looking forward to the Disney trip in a few months.  Mostly looking forward to Saturday when Tripp gets home...even though I wont get to see him, I'll feel better knowing he's back home.
